The Modern Languages’ Faculty is pleased to inform you that the school has been awarded with Comenius funding by the British Council.

The Comenius is a project about creating links with schools in different European countries in order to enable our students to broaden their horizons through learning cultural differences, working together, sharing ideas and experiences. We are now working with Spain,Turkey and Portugal on a project entitled “My ideal European School”.

It is a project which will run over two years and students, especially in year 9 and year 10, will be involved in different activities organised, in order to give the students the opportunity to know more about these countries and exchange information with other European students.

There will be visits to the partnership schools, which will give the students the opportunity to see the differences between the different school systems and enable them to observe the citizenship and some efforts taken up by each school.
